Albrecht Koschorke (1958), received his doctorate and habilitation in literature and philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Since 2002 he has been a full professor of contemporary German literature at the University of Konstanz. He has been a visiting professor at the universities of Chicago and Pretoria. He is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Science. He has published a large number of articles and monographs. His books include: Der fiktive Staat.
